• Medicare Assistance

    Maddison is able to provide psychological services under the Better Access Initiative with the Australia Government (Medicare Assistance Program). You may be able to access rebates for psychological therapy with a Mental Health Care Plan. To obtain a Mental Health Care Plan you will need to consult your General Practitioner prior to booking an appointment so that rebates can be processed for you.

    Medicare Rebate for General Psychologists = $96.65 per session.

    Fees breakdown: $250 session fee less rebate ($96.65) = out of pocket cost of $153.35.

    Please note Mental Health Care Plan is not required to book an appointment. If are not eligible or do not wish to use this initiative, you will be required to pay the full fee.

  • Private Health

    Please seek eligibility advice from your private health insurer. Maddison does not process rebates in clinic but she can provide you with your invoice for you to claim from your private health insurer outside of session.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Due to limited availability, more than 24hrs notice is required if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel within this time period, you will be charged the full session fee. If you fail to arrive for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee of the session. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Client Portal

    Here you can book appointments as a new or existing client. Simply Login or Register an account to see available appointments. The client portal also gives the option to cancel appointments - if you need to reschedule please contact me via email at 'hello@maddisonbraceypsychology.com.au'.

    Please select MHCP appointment if you are using a Mental Health Care Plan and claiming a Medicare rebate. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan please ask your GP to send this electronically to myself at 'hello@maddisonbraceypsychology.com.au'

    If you are unable to find a time that suits you please let me know as there may be some flexibility in booking times that the calendar is unable to display.

  • Payment

    Payments - preferred way of payment is with STRIPE to process a credit card payment electronically and securely through Maddison’s online Client Portal and booking system.

    The full consultation fee will be collected at the time of your appointment. Medicare rebates can be processed on the spot and paid directly into your nominated bank account. Payments are taken with STRIPE which processes a credit card payment electronically and securely through Maddison’s booking system. Please note we do not accept cash, American Express or Diners.

    Deposit - For all online appointments a $50 deposit is required when securing your appointment time and this will be processed at the time of booking your appointment through the Client Portal. This deposit will be forfeited for a late cancel. I will still require you to pay full fee if you fail to arrive for your appointment or you cancel within 24hrs of your appointment (as per the cancellation policy outlined above.).

  • Appointment Times

    As Maddison is located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, all appointments are made in this time zone (AEST). However, based on your browser and location settings the appointment may show in your time zone on the client portal. Please check your appointment confirmations to ensure you have booked the correct time.
